Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and certified Personal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate is currently working on or has obtained a Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field. All candidates must be working on or has recently obtained a certified personal training certification from a reputable organization. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong communication skills, be familiar with all social media platforms, and be enthusiastic about promoting our gym to attract new clients through social media, attending local events, and other marketing endeavors.

Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one training sessions with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals.
Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and nutrition principles.
Motivate and inspire clients to stay committed to their fitness journey.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and track performance metrics.
Actively promote Uplift Strength Center through social media channels and community events.
Assist in gym operations as needed, including cleaning equipment and maintaining a safe workout environment.

Qualifications:

Currently working on or has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
Currently working on or has obtained a Certified Personal Trainer accreditation from a reputable organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, or NSCA).
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of social media platforms.
Enthusiasm for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, etc.)
Ability to work within a team environment.
Must be able to give clear instruction, proper exercise modification, and challenge clients to achieve their fitness and health goals.
A dedication to maintaining personal integrity, client confidentiality, and professional standards for best practice.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekday and Saturday mornings.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
